Meet Megan...

Megan McGrory Massaro is a journalist and author, and mother of two girls. Megan earned a BA in English Literature at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She taught middle and high school English for seven years before transitioning to a full-time writing career. She lives in the Boston area with her husband Mark and three daughters.

Megan is a candidate for Breastfeeding Counselor with the organization Breastfeeding USA, and a mentor for Diaper Free Baby. She is also the founder of a social support group for mothers with babies born in Spring 2010 in the Boston area.

 Meet Miriam...

Miriam J. Katz is a work at home mom and Shamanic Healer. She lives in Boston, MA with her husband and two children.

Miriam is an initiated Altomesayok, carrying the lineage of master shamans in the Andean Q'ero tradition. She was certified as a teacher of Jaguar Yoga, and has apprenticed in Core Shamanism. Miriam was certified as a Professional Coach in 2009 through iPEC, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She is a certified Usui Reiki Master and Kundalini Reiki Master who has practiced energy healing since 2003. A member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners, she received her BA in Psychology and Jewish Studies from Clark University, and an MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management from Boston University. ​
